Changing the opacity of your selections

Use the Opacity options to set how see through your selections are. Select the object(s) and choose Properties from the right-hand panel / properties palette. In the Color & Patterns section click the inside the Opacity text box, type the value you want and press the Enter key. Alternatively you can use the slider to the right of the text box to set the opacity.
