In MacDraft you can define the size and angle of lines and shapes before you draw them. Simply select the rectangle tool (rectangle tool icon) and then double click in the document, a pop up will appear asking for the length and height you want it to be. This can be used with a number of drawing tools, such as circles, lines, stars and more. Different tools will show different options, circles can show diameter or radius and lines can have their angle set.
