Joining walls using Extrude Parallel Line

You can add and join extra parallel lines to existing ones using the Extrude Parallel Line or Polyline tools. Select the Extrude Parallel Line/Polyline tool from the Drafting Tools panel / palette. Click on the wall you wish to add the new section to and draw the new set of walls, then either click on the part of the wall you wish to end to create a closed room or double-click to create an open area.
