Creating Patterns has never been easier than it is in MacDraft 8. Add a new pattern via the swatches panel and you are greeted by the pattern dialog. In here you change the pen color and then select the pencil (pencil icon) to click and change the pixels in the panel. There are tools to invert (invert icon) the colors, flip the pattern horizontal (horizontal icon), flip it vertical (vertical icon), blend colors (blend icon), fill (fill icon) a single color and of course clear everything back to a white/blank pattern. There are also options to change the zoom level and the amount of pixels available all the way up to 512 x 512. The final and most powerful feature is the paste button in which you can paste in an image from your clipboard to make incredibly detailed pixel patterns.
